Biography of Bola Asiru

Bola is an experienced business development and innovation leader with over 20 years experience working with blue chip companies globally. He is based in London and is currently, the Global Vice President for Innovation & Transformation products at Mastercard. He is responsible for consulting product penetration and growth across five continents. Bola has held other strategically important roles within the company including country manager for Mastercard West Africa and Business Development leader for Mastercard Advisors across 32 countries in Africa.  

He was previously, Director of Strategy & Innovation with Deloitte & Touche and led the financial services consulting practice for West Africa. 

Bola has also held various transformation roles at Barclays, Credit Suisse and Legal & General Investments.

He is an avid art collector and patron of African modern & contemporary art. He is the founder of Red Door Gallery in Lagos and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA). Bola believes art is one of the most powerful mediums of cross-cultural exchange globally.

Bola is an alumnus of London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) where he acquired a M.Sc. in Information Systems and Harvard University (postgraduate certificate in Management)"
